Write a description of your
product, service, program, or whatever you intend to sell.
But before you announce your offer to the world, use my CLEAR framework to evaluate your description and make it stronger.
Use CLEAR to determine, "Is anything missing?" "Am I hitting the right notes?" "Is this ready to share?"
C - Call to Action
Did you remember to include a call to action?
Your CTA might be "apply now," "book a call," "request a quote," "make a deposit," "sign up before midnight," or something else.
L - Less is More
Is there anything you can remove to make your description shorter and simpler?
Challenge yourself to make your draft 50% shorter. Chop it in half. Say less to sell more.
E - Empathy
Who is your ideal client or customer?
What is this person thinking and feeling?
If you were in this person's shoes, what would inspire you to purchase—or not purchase?
A - Accuracy
Is your writing 100% accurate?
Double-check to make sure everything is correct: date, time, address, price, link, etc.
R - Results
Are you stating the results that your offer provides?
Share results using testimonials, before and after photos, or statistics: "90% of our clients achieve X within 3 months."
