Hello friends!
I'm thrilled to announce that my client Dr. Sasha Heinz got a book deal with Scribner.
Scribner, part of Simon & Schuster, has published books by iconic writers in the fiction and nonfiction realms, from Annie Proulx (Brokeback Mountain) to Angela Duckworth (Grit) to Kiese Laymon (Heavy) and many Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winning titles.
Sasha is nerv-cited (nervous + excited) to bring her first book into the world!
I’m honored to be her writing partner. She and I will dive into working on the manuscript later this year.
An opportunity for you...
Sasha has a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Columbia, a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from U of Penn, and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard. (She is brilliant, thoughtful, and has a wonderfully goofy, quirky sense of humor!)
Sasha is conducting a research study looking into how adults go through different phases of psychological development over the course of
their lives, why people get stuck in certain areas, and how to get unstuck and evolve into your highest potential.
She will share her findings in her forthcoming book.
She is looking for a few people to participate in the study.
Would you like to be one of them?
As a participant, you will join Sasha (or one of her research colleagues) for a 60-minute interview on Zoom followed by an online questionnaire. Your interview will happen between now and September at a time that is convenient for you.
What you gain by participating:
- Talk to a psychologist 1-on-1, be interviewed, and answer interesting questions about your life and goals.
- Have "aha" moments about what's keeping you stuck in certain areas and where you have opportunities to grow and develop.
- Be part of meaningful research that
will help others.
- Be thanked in the Acknowledgments of the book (or not—you can be anonymous if you prefer not to be named).
- Plus, attend a group coaching session with Dr. Sasha Heinz—exclusively for study participants. Connect with others, explore life’s big questions, and learn more about the science of getting unstuck.
Want to be part of this? Email larissa@drsashaheinz.com and say, “I want to be in the study!”
Thank you for considering this!
It means a great deal to Sasha—and to me, too.
-Alex
PS. Sasha is looking for participants of all genders and ages (18 and up). However, if you happen to be between the ages of 25-35, or 70-90, or identify as male (any age), please consider volunteering, as Sasha is looking for a few more
participants in those demographics.
PPS. Feel free to forward this email to someone who might be interested.
PPPS. Calm, soothing music for your weekend. I've been loving
this playlist, too.
