Happy Valentine's Day weekend!
I hope that you are in love with life, with yourself, and perhaps somebody else.
I'm cooling my jets after an exceptionally busy couple of weeks. Tomorrow is
my first "day off" in quite a while and I'll be seeing that smutty movie that everyone is buzzing about (... and loving every minute, no doubt.)
I learned quite a few things about myself this week. Wrote a bit, too.
Here are a few recent pieces for you:
- Temporary discomfort. It's worth it. [always. every time. even though we resist...]
- 10 slow and difficult steps to moderate success. [ha. but it's true!]
- Keep the channel open. [essential. we forget sometimes.]
- Your life is a hot date. Show up. [damn straight]
- What are you capable of giving? [it's much more than you
think]
And my personal favorite of the week:
- Dig deep. [my new mantra]
In other news...
- Unstoppable starts in 7 days. Be there.
- I've added a second date for my
Make A Tiny Book workshop because the first one sold out. New date: Saturday, July 11, 2015. Want to come? It's going to be a fun,
productive day. Also: there's a bacon tasting bar. You're welcome.
Night night, friends.
Dig deep.
Love big.
-Alex
PS. LOTS of new music discoveries this week. I think you'll love this. And this. And this. And for something on the mellower side... this.
PPS. It's not too late to send someone a Valentine. Here are 30 cute mini-love-notes that you can email, text, or scrawl on a card and tuck into somebody's pocket. Like: "I love you more than Dolly Parton loves peroxide." And: "I love
your face. More than Facebook." Enjoy!
