Free class tomorrow! [Topic: Stop procrastinating. Start writing.]

Published: Wed, 03/08/17

Hey! A couple days ago, I mentioned that I'm teaching a FREE class tomorrow. It's a one-hour class. Live video-stream. You can watch online. The topic is... Stop procrastinating. Start writing.

Maybe you didn't see my original note about the class? Or maybe you procrastinated on signing up for the class on how to stop procrastinating? Haha! Hey, it happens! Either way, I wanted to give you one last reminder, just in case you'd like to attend.

Date: Thursday, March 9th.

Time: Class starts at 9:30am Pacific / 11:30am Central / 12:30pm Eastern.

Format: Live video-stream with a cool slideshow—plus Q&A at the end.

I'll share a story about how I used to procrastinate like crazy—mostly by eating pizza and reading random postings on Craigslist. (Those were dark times!)

I'll share tips on how to set sane, reasonable writing goals—and how to get through those panicky, perfectionistic moments when you want to delete everything you’ve written and hide under a blanket.

I'm co-teaching this class with my amazing friend and client, Susan Hyatt, and she's got tons of great insights to share, too! (If you don't know her, you'll love meeting her. She's a lightning bolt of joy.)

To participate: Register for the class over here. Even if you definitely can't attend the class tomorrow, you can register anyway and then we'll send you a video recording that you can watch later.

Bye for now!

PS. I cannot stop listening to this song! It's my jam of the month. Blast it and dance. This song is so good, too.

PPS. Hey! Just a friendly reminder. If you don't want to receive emails from me anymore, there's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of this email—and every email that I send out. Hit it! I won't be offended. Decluttering your inbox is great. :)

PPPS. Another reminder. Your words are so powerful—and you can use your words to brighten someone's day, or even change someone's life. You can write "thank you" letters. You can write postcards to friends. You could nominate someone for an award. You could write a note to honor a local hero in your community. And so much more. Here are 7 writing projects that you can realistically complete in 20 minutes or less. Choose one and have fun!
