If you had just 24 hours to live, what would you do with your time?
Would you watch the sunrise one last time? Would you spend the day snuggling with your kids? Would you pop a bottle of champagne with your best friends? How would you spend those precious final hours?
"What would you do with your final 24 hours?" is a
pretty big, emotionally-charged question—and it's the question that inspired me to write a novel called So This Is the End: A Love Story.
I'm so excited to announce that the book is out... today!
So This Is the End: A Love Story is a fictional story about a woman named Nora. Nora dies
unexpectedly—but then she gets the chance to experience one more day of life. Just 24 hours. A bonus round. Nora doesn't want to waste a single minute. She's determined to make every moment count. But then—much to her surprise—Nora ends up meeting an incredible man, the love of her life, on the very last day of her life. What happens next? Well, you'll need to read the book to find out.
If you decide to buy the book, thank you.
If you post a review about the
book, thank you.
If you don't buy the book, but you meet up with some people that you love—and you ask everyone, "What would you do with your final 24 hours?"—and then everyone shares what they would do, and you wind up having a fascinating conversation about it, thank you, because
that's totally amazing, too.
My biggest hope is that So This Is the End will inspire lots of people to think about what really matters in life—and how we really want to be spending our time.
We never know what tomorrow
might bring.
Let's make today count.

PS. I made this playlist inspired by the book. Lots of moody, emotional, dreamy music.
PPS. I recently discovered this artist and his music is so incredibly soothing and relaxing.
PPPS. My friend Melissa and I made a fun, energizing workout playlist that's full of inside jokes that only we understand ("Triangle, waaaaaaaittt!") but you might enjoy the tunes, too!
PPPPS. I need to send a huge THANK YOU to Brenda at Mango Publishing—and the whole Mango team, too. Without your belief and support, So
This Is the End would probably still be a Word document collecting dust on my computer desktop. Thank you x infinity forever and ever.
