I just learned that today is National Day of Encouragement. A special day dedicated to uplifting
people and creating a positive ripple in the world.
So, whoever is reading this, wherever you are, please remember that you're doing a great job and today is not over yet.
Even if it's 11:35 PM at night when you see this email, today is still not over yet.
You still have time to drink a big glass of water, text your parents to say "I love you," answer that one email you've been avoiding, or perhaps complete a very tiny project, meditate, pray,
stretch, breathe, or listen to your favorite song. A lot can happen—and change—in 25 minutes. It's never too late to turn things around and finish your day on a positive note. Today is not over yet. TINOY.
Also!
Some news!
Here are a few projects I've been working on lately. Books, magazines, educational programs, and more. Oh, and by the way, nothing in this email is "urgent." Read at your leisure. Anytime.

I collaborated with my client and friend Susan Hyatt to create a gorgeous magazine that's all about women and money.
Inside: Take a financial health quiz. Learn interesting statistics about the gender wage gap. Read essays on a range of topics, like, "Is money really that important?" "How to figure out how much to charge," and "How to feel 'rich' even if your bank account is...not looking so
hot."
The magazine turned out beautifully. I'm so thrilled! Download a free digital issue.

My client Elise is a phenomenal chef, food photographer, nutrition and eating psychology expert. I helped her craft her latest book proposal—and she recently got offered a book deal and signed with a wonderful
publisher! Congrats, Elise! I'm not allowed to name "who" she signed with, just yet, but you can follow her work for updates on the book, her podcast, and other projects, too.
. . .
Feeling stagnant? Craving a change? My client Ellen wants to help you breathe fresh energy into your life and career. Set exciting new goals. Get unstuck. Get things moving in a new direction. Apply to join her new program and give your life and work a beautiful makeover.
Ellen is one of my favorite people on earth, with a real gift for helping you reinvent and redesign your world. I've been working with Ellen to develop some of the lessons/materials/worksheets/etc. for her program. I'll be a special guest
teacher, too!

CrisMarie Campbell and Susan Clarke have a new book coming out through my publishing imprint, The Tiny Press, a division of Mango Press. It's called The Beauty of Conflict for Couples.
This book is all about how to approach conflict (squabbles about money, time, parenting, laundry, dishes, and more) with a completely new attitude. With the right tools, conflict can be a beautiful thing—something that brings you and your sweetheart closer together, as a strong problem solving team,
rather than driving you apart.
Book release day is September 15. Order now. Huge congratulations to CrisMarie and Susan!

Do you have a kid (age 12 and up) who's obsessed with musical theatre and Broadway shows? Enroll them in Hello Broadway Live.
4 weeks of online training (dance, voice, acting, audition preparation, as well as classes on mindset/confidence) plus an incredible 1 day workshop in NYC led by award-winning performing artists.
Whether your child winds up becoming a professional Broadway performer, or not, this is an experience that will undoubtedly change their life.
I worked with Robert Hartwell (founder of the Broadway Collective and Hello Broadway Live) to develop a workbook and get-ready-for-NYC checklist for the
students. Robert and his team are world-class educators. The whole program is so thoughtfully designed, start to finish.
Side note: I also helped Robert create a short book called 10 Ways To Carve Out Time & Money For Your Dream which every kid, teen (and honestly, every grown-up!) should read. Robert is releasing a digital version of the
book TODAY for FREE (whhhhhaaaat) so get your paws on this book. Whether your dream is to "perform on Broadway" or "become a magician" or "take a pastry-making class in Paris" or anything else, this book will motivate you, big time.
. . .
My client Theresa Reed, aka The Tarot Lady, has a new book which is called Tarot for Troubled Times. She's a book-writing-machine and has yet
another book coming out soon: Astrology for Real Life: A Workbook for Beginners through Weiser Books. I had a chance to read and consult on an early version of the manuscript. This book is SUCH A DELIGHT and yes I must HOLLER in all caps. Anyone who's curious about astrology: pre-order now.
. . .
This concludes my updates for today!
Please have a beautiful day.
Exhale deeply. Drink some water. Eat a vegetable or two. Call your mom. Make a short checklist. Take one tiny step at a time. Watch a YouTube video and learn a beginner-level magic trick. Have a donut. You know. Live your best life.
AND lastly, let's all remember that the purpose of life is not necessarily to "achieve things" and "write bestselling books" and "accomplish stuff," yada yada, but rather, to be a kind and decent person, be generous of spirit, love and be loved, have experiences, and collect memories rather than
trophies, because MAMA HOTDOG life goes fast and none of this lasts forever, am I right?
Love,
-Alex
