I love making this annual list.
It helps me take all the intentions floating around in my head and put them down in writing, making them feel concrete and real.
It helps me remember that there are lots of interesting things to do besides watching Netflix and answering emails and scrolling through an endless tech-sea of glowing pixels on a screen.
Also, it's a visual record of the year I'm having. Like a journal entry, or a time capsule, in the shape of a list. Where was I? Oh right. There. What have I done lately? Oh yeah. This.
What's on your list for 2019?
If you haven't made one yet, why not today? This year is not over yet.

PS. If your entire list is "breathe" and "exist" and "try not to harm anyone" then that is a wonderful list.
PPS. If you couldn't see the photos in today's newsletter for some weird glitchy reason, click here and here to see them.
PPPS. I'm doing a 25-day personal challenge right now, which includes meditating, swimming in the ocean, and a few other self-care and outdoor-nature activities—
daily. 25 days in a row. I am finding it very challenging—
but then, I suppose, that's the whole point of a challenge, ehhhh??? I made this music playlist with 25 songs to keep myself feeling motivated and inspired to cross the finish line.
PPPPS. THIS is really beautiful.
