What do you need to *ask* for?
Maybe you want to ask your dream client to hire you.
Maybe you want to ask your manager for a promotion, better office, or flexible schedule.
Maybe you want to ask hundreds of people to believe in your mission and donate large sums of money to your social justice cause.
Or maybe you want to ask your spouse—or roommate—to wash their own damn dishes!
Asking can sometimes feel intimidating and trigger all kinds of uncomfortable emotions, especially for women.
As an introvert and recovering people-pleaser and perfectionist, I have struggled with asking in the past. Asking is a muscle I've built over time, and you can, too.
This class is a fundraiser for Crisis Text Line: a volunteer-run 24/7 mental health counseling service. 100% goes to this organization.
You can donate any amount. No amount is too big or too small. And if you really can't make a donation right now, that's okay! Come enjoy the class for free.
Everything you need to know ("What time does class start?" "How long is it?" "How do I register?" "What topics will be covered?") is all right here.
Not available on Friday? Sign up anyway. We'll send the recording to you. You can watch later whenever it's convenient for you.
The best part: we have a very special guest teacher at this class: Dale Franzen. Aka: my mom! She's a Tony Award-winning producer. She has raised millions for the performing arts and social justice causes. She's a working parent with three kids. She's my #1 hero. She is not afraid to ask for what she wants, and I've learned so much from her. You will love learning from her, too.
When you ask for what you want, doors open for you.
It’s time to find the courage to ask.
See you there!
-Alex
PS. Tell your friends about this fundraiser class. Invite your whole community to attend! More attendees = more donations = more funds raised = more good, done.
