Today (August 31) is the very last day to enroll.
So, if you've been procrastinating until the last moment, the last moment is officially here. :)
Here are some questions you might have about the class…and answers.
(And by the way, if you love dogs, scroll down to the bottom because there's a surprise for you.)
Q: Who should take this class?
The Email Class is ideal for: entrepreneurs, freelancers, consultants, coaches, educators, writers, artists, activists, fundraisers, and many people who work in a corporate setting, too.
If "writing emails" or "writing newsletters" is something you need to do regularly, then you'll gain a lot from this class.
Q: What’s covered in The Email Class?
- Learn how to write emails and newsletters that people absolutely love reading.
- Get better results from every email you send. More sales. More enthusiasm. More engagement. More people paying attention. More Yes's. Stronger relationships. All the good things.
- Change the way you handle email: create efficient systems, work smarter not harder, stop spending 25+ hours per week dealing with email, free up lots of time.
- Shift your attitude about email, so that emails feels like a joyful and energizing part of your life, not a tedious chore.
Q: What's the very last day to register?

Q: I want to do The Email Class, but I’m super busy right now! Will this class be offered again a little later this year? Or next year?
The Email Class is being offered one time this year. It won’t be offered again until 2021.
The good news is, all the class materials (email templates, training videos, writing tips, etc.) are yours to keep forever. As long as you sign up for class before September 1, then you get everything delivered to you, and you can go at your own pace. Take all the time you need.
Q: May I see a schedule of when all the live classes are happening? If I have a conflict and can't attend something, can I watch a recording later?
Of course! Here's the schedule.
*All of the live classes (except for the bonus workshop in October) start at 10 am Hawaii / 1 pm Pacific / 4 pm Eastern, and run for 50 minutes.
*All of the live classes are recorded. So if you can't attend while it's happening live, you can always watch the recording and catch up later, whenever it's convenient for you.

$495 USD. You can pay $95 now and pay the rest later. See more info and sign up here.
Q: I really want to do this class, but can't afford it right now. Any thoughts for me?
I'm sorry you're experiencing financial difficulties right now. I know how stressful and discouraging that can be, and I'm sending strength to you.
Here's one idea: if you're employed, ask your boss (or top client) if they'd be willing to purchase The Email Class for you. Explain that you want to strengthen your writing skills so that you can do your work even better. Your employer might be happy to purchase the class for you. You never know unless you ask.
Q: I did The Email Class last year. Is it “different” this year or the same?
Similar, but different.
I’ve updated all the materials, and added several new things, because the world and business landscape in 2020 is not the same as 2019.
Q: I have an assistant who handles emails for me. Can I purchase The Email Class, and do it myself, and then give the materials to my assistant so they can do the class, too?
Sure! Go for it.
Q: I’ve taken other classes from you, like the Marketing Without Social Media Program, and the Ask and Receive Program. Should I do The Email Class, too? Will it be “different” or the same stuff I’ve already learned?
We'll cover some of the same general concepts, but...it's a completely different class. :)
If you’ve already taken a program with me in the past, The Email Class will be a good complement/next step for you! Build upon what you’ve learned. Keep the momentum going.
Q: I’m new around here. Who are you, Alex? What qualifies you to teach a course on emails, writing, communication, etc.?
Hi! Nice to meet you.
I’ve worked as a copywriter and communication consultant for 10 years. I’ve written thousands of emails, newsletters, websites, pitches, proposals, and marketing materials for my clients (companies of all sizes), and I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t.
I’m a published author (6 books so far) and founder of an award-winning book publishing imprint.
I've written articles for Time, Forbes, Newsweek, The Huffington Post, and Lifehacker. My work has been mentioned in The New York Times Small Business Blog, The Atlantic, The Los Angeles Times, and Inc.
I’ve taught writing classes in 18 cities around the world, and to thousands of people online.
I specialize in teaching you how to write clear, powerful words that motivate people to take action. More on my work here.
Q: Alex, I heard you have a cute rescue dog named Zuki. I honestly don’t care about The Email Class (no offense!), but I would love to see a photo of Zuki! Please! Can I?
Q: I have another question!
Let’s make email and newsletter magic!
-Alex
